Disney’s Frozen the Musical
Hidden Folk - Pabbi and Bulda
The Wauwatosa West Trojan Players had the divine opportunity of being the first and only high school in Wisconsin to perform Frozen the Musical after winning ‘The United States of Frozen - Love Is An Open Door’ contest hosted by Disney. Bringing real magic to the stage was such a welcome challenge, and the kids rose to the occasion and rocked the audiences at each of the sold out performances. An experience that will be remembered by everyone involved for years to come.
I got to further that experience with two of the students from the production in collaboration with the wig designer, costume designer and one of my favorite photographers. In this exclusive photoshoot, I breathe new life into the leaders of the Hidden Folk - Pabbi & Bulda.

Voodoo Royalty
Dauveline Deathbloom
After traveling to New Orleans and staying in the renovated summer cottage of the Queen of Voodoo, Marie Laveau, I was drawn to the creation of my own signature character - Dauveline Deathbloom.
Rooted in modern day with a pull of classic flair, I chose purple as the signature color, and found a mix of shades from across the spectrum to create a dimensional look. The hat, jacket and staff were all created with a cohesive style and attention to detail. I created the custom prosthetic to mimic a skull fragment to add a little bit of spook factor.
Since Madame Deathbloom’s conception in 2019, she has been officially named and made immortal. Over time I plan to create a signature look from each era that she has been alive. Keep your eyes peeled for updates.

Hair Affair: Zodiac
Gemini Tree of Life & Death
A project that I did with my cousin, Rashon Crenshaw, a local hairstylist hailing from London's Healthy Hair.
Hair Affair is fundraising event held every other year for the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMOCA). 2019’s theme was Zodiac, and seeing as both Rashon and I are Geminis, we went with our sign, and chose to create a Tree of Life and Death.
“Gemini: Revealing Duality - Light and dark. Dull and shiny. Goodness and... not-so-goodness. A visual duel of life/death speaks to the duality of the Gemini. Witness verdant, spiraling curls resembling grass that move skyward toward a topiary divided. Half a vibrant display of foliage; the opposite, lifeless charcoal and blood-red branches. Which side would you rather be on?” [program notes from the event]
Sculpting & Molding
The process of sculpting and molding is used to create custom prosthetics. Being able to customize prosthetics provides the opportunity to create realistic, fitted appliances that look great on stage, in film, as well as up close at parties and events.
Customized prosthetics can be used to create a specific seamless look on an actor or model, and give the illusion that they are injured, or even a creature right out of your favorite fantastical story.
Prosthetic customization and application are most frequently used in the special fx makeup industry.
